Singles at some stage in
life would get married depending on the purpose of God for that particular life
involve and this would result to the building of another home as children
(biological and spiritual) begin to come as blessings resulting from the union.
The home is a small unit of
the society. The home goes a long way to determine what a society at large or
nation would turn out to be in the future.
From the beginning:
God’s order of marriage:

+ one woman = Husband & Wife
BUT unfortunately,
New world order:
==èOne man + ‘x’
number of women = Polygamy
==èOne man + one man =
Homosexuality
==èOne man +
animal = Bestiality
==èOne woman + one woman = Lesbianism
==èOne man + one
woman (Unmarried) = Partners
==èOne man + one
woman (Divorcees) = Adultery
No doubt, these unions also
give birth to their own kind, with the exception of bestiality. Every other
union either conceive their own offspring or go for adoption. These children
grow up into adulthood, knowing nothing about GOD. They are then groomed from
their homes to go and be fruitful, multiply, replenish the earth and subdue it,
through different strategies, obeying their master, the devil.
They are not relentless in
their duty. Their master, the devil, knows that there is little time left, so
he is not sluggish with his business, neither are his servants slothful. They
go on duty and subtly lure others.
They have entered into the
Church and they are dogged with their assignment, causing confusion and
destroying lives and homes!
While they are making
waves, the Church is sleeping. They have come to a point that they say to
themselves, “Do not judge them; accept them. God is love.” The more space the
Church gives to them, the more access they have to our young children, singles
and homes that are unguarded and unequipped with the truth. Most painful, is the fact that the
Church now imitates them and have joined in the divorce train, thus, breaking
the covenant made before God with the wife of their youth.
Malachi 2:15-16 AMP: And did not God
make [you and your wife] one [flesh]? Did not One make you and preserve your
spirit alive? And why [did God make you two] one? Because He sought a godly
offspring [from your union]. Therefore take heed to yourselves, and let no one
deal treacherously and be faithless to the wife of his youth. 16 For
the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I hate divorce and marital
separation and him who covers his garment [his wife] with violence. Therefore
keep a watch upon your spirit [that it may be controlled by My Spirit], that
you deal not treacherously and faithlessly [with your marriage
mate].
Malachi 2:15-16 MSG: God, not you, made marriage. His
Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want
from marriage? Children of God, that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage
within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse. 16 “I hate
divorce,” says the God of
Israel. God-of-the-Angel-Armies
says, “I hate the violent dismembering of the ‘one flesh’ of marriage.” So
watch yourselves. Don’t let your guard down. Don’t cheat.
PRAYERS
Thanksgiving
- Thank God for the union called Marriage.
- Thank God for the homes that the foundation is Christ.
- Thank God for our children that He has brought to know the truth about JESUS.
- Thank God for the fellowship and union in your marriage and home.
Repentance and Restoration: James 1:21
- Father, we repent on behalf of the Church. Please purge Your Church from every filthiness that has crept in.
- Lord, in your mercy, please begin to restore every broken home, family, relationships in the Church and of those close to us.
Wisdom to Raise Godly Children: Deuteronomy 6:4-7;
Ephesians 5:1-7
- Help me to teach my children diligently to love You with all their heart, soul and might. Vs 5
- Help me never to get tired to telling them the truth, be it in my sitting, walking, lying down and rising up. Vs 7
- Lord, make me and my children walk in Your wisdom, let us walk circumspectly, not as fools but wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil.
- Lord, give our youth and singles the grace to understand what the will of the Lord is concerning every matter.
- Make them hungry for you, so that they can be filled with Your Spirit and not the world’s.
- Lord, remove the worldly lyrics of the wicked from their tongues and fill them with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, so they can make melody unto you, O Lord, instead of being enslaved by the tune and songs from the pit of hell.
Divine Direction for Our Singles: 2 Timothy
2:22; Gen 2:21-24
- Open the eyes of our youths and singles; make them see the emptiness of the world. Please Lord, captivate them, capture them, culture them. Have mercy on them and cause them to see every reason why they should consistently continue with You and in Your word.
- Make our youth and singles to be the light radiating Your glory wherever they go.
- Holy Spirit empower and strengthen our youth to flee youthful lusts and follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, as with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Guide and direct the hearts of our youth and singles to the knowledge of the truth and Your will for them concerning their marital partners and homes.
Marriage / Family: Ephesians
5: 2 -31
- Grant grace to our women to be submissive to their husbands as to the Lord, that they may be able to take their rightful position as head, doing what is required and expected of them by the Lord.
- Lord, let your unconditional love fill the hearts of our men towards their wives; make them to love as Christ loved the Church and gave himself for it.
- Uproot every hardened heart and hatred from our home; visit the foundations of our marriages and let Your love and peace reign.
- Lord, cause faith to arise on the hearts of our unbelieving spouses, youths and singles. Remove unbelief from their hearts and graft them into the Olive tree which is Christ, to save them from eternal damnation (Romans 11:23).
LORD, GIVE US HOMES WHERE
THE ALTAR FIRES BURN AND GLOW AND YOUR ETERNAL PURPOSE IS ACHIEVED.
