QUESTIONS FOR THOUGHT

• Are you pointing your kids in the right directions so that they don’t get lost spiritually?

• What right path have you chosen for your children to remain upon are they the same (Spiritually and academically)? 

• Are you teaching your kids in a way that fits their NEEDS (GOD’S pattern for them) or is it in a way that fits their WANTS (worldly pleasures) or is it according to the drive of the world system (what is in vogue)? 

• Malachi 2:15 (MSG 13-15) And here’s a second offense: You fill the place of worship with your whining and snivelling because you don’t get what you want from God. Do you know why? Simple. Because God was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you’ve broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife. God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? CHILDREN OF GOD, (Godly offspring, Godly seed, Godly descendants) that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse. 

Proverbs 14:1 (NKJV) The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish pulls it down with her hands. When the home is broken, the childen are broken.

Proverbs 127:4-5 (NKJV) Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one's youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in their enemies in the gate.

Sister or brothers that might be listening or reading, before our children can be like arrows in the hand of God, or be able to speak with their enemies at the gate, they need to be formed by our prayers and with the word of God which shows the right pattern of God from the scriptures like Abraham did to Isaac, Jacob to Joseph, Mary to Jesus, David to Solomon etc.

We need to seek the help of God for our lives and that of our children. We need God to show us the original pattern so that we can PASS THE BATON on to our children for their generation’s sake and the generation to come.

Prayer Points 

• O Lord my Father, grant me strength not to give up on my physical and spiritual children that you have given me like you did to Rebekah.

• O Lord my Father, enlarge my capacity for this assignment.

• Holy Spirit of God, feed me to feed my children.

• The grace to be patient to form Christ in my children, please grant it unto me.

• Let me not regret over my children.

• Anything that is occupying my life now that may want me to weep over my children in future, please take it away.

• The wisdom to deal with my children individually, please grant it unto to me. I need Your word and Your wisdom, O Lord, for this assignment, please grant it unto me in the name of Jesus.

• You will not regret over my children and my marriage.

• Let Christ be fully formed in me to be able to replicate Christ in my children and others.
• Help me Lord, help me Jesus, help me Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name.

• Help me not to fail you like Eve did by falling for perishable things like the lust of the eyes, the pride of this world etc.

• Help me to know you are counting on me to raise Godly children for you.

• So help me God in Jesus’ name.

Joseph - A Godly Youth

Gen.37:2

Joseph at 17 was a youth who chose to separate himself from the works of darkness - from sin, he would not contaminate himself with sin. Though living with his carnal brothers, he would not indulge or have any part in their sinful ways instead, he hated it and reported it to their father.

Gen. 37:18

Joseph's brothers became jealous of him and wanted to kill him. Though they were brothers, they were not born of the same spirit. They were not of the same Father - God, and so did not speak the same language. Joseph's brothers wanted to put him out of the way so that their evil deeds may abound. So also do the children of this generation towards our God-fearing youths. they called him a dreamer and harassed and persecuted him sorely.

PRAYER  

• Let's plead with God that youths like Joseph may abound. God-fearing youths who will go to any length to stand with and stand for God. Who will endure persecution and when sorely provoked and isolated, they will continuously choose God.
• Joseph made up his mind not to be evil like his brothers (so will our youths). Lord please, cleanse and purge the hearts of the youths of this generation.

Psalm 127:3

Children are a heritage from the LORD, offspring a reward from him.Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one's youth.Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court. All children are supposed to be the Lord's heritage, growing firm in faith, peace, love, joy, in grace and in stature but alas, the sworn enemy of God and mankind will not allow this to be. He will do anything  in order to kill, to steal and to destroy these ones right from their very first cry. He plans all his strategies meticulously and carries out his evil plans upon the unsuspecting youths in order to spoil their lives here on earth and land them in hell.

THE DEVIL'S WAYS OF ATTACKS AND STRATEGIES AGAINST THE YOUTHS.

Godless society - scientists and theories and evolution. 

Manipulations through media, government. etc.

Broken homes, divorce, absent father figure, gay rights movements, gender and sex education in schools.

Wars, paedophiles, alcohols, drugs, sex, discos, materialism, lack of discipline, corruption on all levels, false religion that abounds.

Technology - all sorts of video games, messaging, corrupt and evil films, adverts, etc.

Young brides - tradition and Islam, occultic practices - Scientology, satanism, witchcraft etc.

PRAYER

• Lord, every guile, every deceit, every trap weaved against the youths, every manipulation, every project and projection of the devil designed, fashioned against the youths in order to steal, to kill, and to destroy them, we render of none effect in their lives in Jesus name. 
• Lord break and cut off the long arm of the devil upon the youths, cut his ways short, confuse every of his intents, make the minds of the youths non-receptive to his schemes, cause there to be a seeking of the truth in the hearts of the youths.
• Lord, let there be a special decree from heaven in their favour. draw them in Lord, draw them in their droves.cause them to turn their backs against the worldly set rules and let your mercy find them.
• Give us a wide open door to the youths and cause our hearts to be enlarged towards them. give each and every one of us a burden for the youths and help us to prepare a generation that knows the Lord. The Lord's inheritance they will be, to offer themselves as living sacrifices pleasing to the Lord.
• Lord, rain down your grace upon the youths to understand that they need God. An empowerment to lift them up  above sin, above satan's chains. 
• Lord, lend an ear to the youths as they cry out in their desperations, in their confusions, in their bewilderments, in their helplessness and in their needs. 
• Cut off from their necks the yoke of satan and release them from the devil's oppression. Rain down your mercies upon them, let it be your set time to favour the youths.
• Father, we plead for bold and brave men and women in various places of trust who will stand out as examples, having the life light pointing the way to the youths, and representing their interests on God's behalf. 

James 1:27

• Lord, choose and set apart youths that will be strategic in your plan for this end time revival, please. keep them clean and unspotted from the world. help them to keep their hearts and  from all the devil is offering them in the world (please pray for your house and all you know).
• Lord, please help the youths of our time to loath evil, courage to distance themselves from evil influence, boldness to denounce evil, and speak righteousness.

Jeremiah 1:10

• The devil is doing a great violence to the children and youths of this age, please, tear down every works of darkness designed to rubbish the youths: divorce and it's traumas, legislative laws meant to trap them, all evil in media, publicity, music, drugs, discos, carnal love etc. Let these not have anymore attractions to them,

Galatians 1: 6

• Lord, make my children your battle axes. 
• You revealed yourself to Joseph in his youth, strengthened and poured your grace and favour upon David, giving him wisdom, and to Esther an obedient and a humble spirit. Lord remember my children in this day of Your power.

Leviticus 10:1-14.  "And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incence thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which He commanded them not. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD."

2Kings 4:1, 4-6.  "Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen. ² And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil. ³ Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few. ⁴ And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full. ⁵ So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out. ⁶ And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed." 

      Two sons of the high priest Aaron carried strange hearts and offered strange fire before the Lord in the tabernacle.

      The two sons of this widow carried correct hearts and they both laboured with their mother for a "revival"

      The two sons of Eli the high priest carried wicked hearts and defiled the altar and the people of God in the temple.

      Samuel the son of an ordinary woman carried a correct heart and ministered before the Lord all his days.

The sons of both high priests Aaron and Eli perished. There were no travailing women in their lives. Many preachers' children are perishing in their sins today. Where are the travailing women in their lives?

ü  Lord please put the burden of preachers' children in my heart as a travailing woman. Cause me to travail for them till they are set ablaze and pushed into their destinies.

ü  Lord please remember the children of preachers. Deliver them from the struggles of living in two different worlds much of the time. Many times they experience one world at home and an entirely different one in the church and they are confused.

ü  Please Lord reveal Yourself to them so they can have their own personal encounters and not live a pretend life of "living up to expectation as preachers' children"

ü  Deliver them from the enemy of their parents, the devil who hates them and try to devour them in vengeful anger.

ü  Pray for preachers' children who are offering strange fire before the Lord. Those who are pushing false doctrines. That the Lord will show them mercy and encounter them with the complete Gospel.

ü   Pray for preachers children who are offering true fire. Those who have a personal genuine encounter with the Lord and are following whole heartedly. For the Lord to preserve them and be jealous over their lives.  

ü  Pray for those who are offering no fire at all. Those who are lost in the world of sin. That the Lord will have mercy on them and convict them of their sin so they can turn to Him for their salvation.

ü  Pray for preachers' children who are rebelling against God for whatever reason. That the Lord will be merciful and look at their vulnerability and draw them to Himself.

ü  Pray for all our children in the Revival Labour. That God in His mercy will draw them close to His heart. Save them, keep them, set them ablaze and use them to the glory of His name in this daybreak. May we not mourn any of our children. AMEN!!
